This project was a beautiful seafront penthouse on the Avenue Princess Grace in Monaco. The client wanted to make the most of their large, open plan living spaces by maximising the light and airiness available from the Penthouse windows. Our design drew on the client’s passion for elegant, rococo style to create an apartment that was at once both stately and approachable. We wanted it to be homely and luxurious; with plenty of intricate design details but without feeling crowded. The photo gallery above shows the result.For the living rooms and bedrooms we were influenced by classic stately home design, giving the spaces a contemporary twist by our juxtaposition of gold detailing and dark wood furnishings. A fresh, open atmosphere was cultivated through the use of neutral walls and delicate pastel shades, amplifying the abundant Mediterranean sunshine within the rooms. The Kitchen, bathroom and balcony were designed with bright, clear lines and a definite contemporary feel, with a layout designed to make the most of the available space.
